The kids and I were loving every minute of it-Grant on the other hand thought Hawaii sounded good. The kids loved playing out in it. Jaxson was tag-teamed by Bella’s friends with the snowballs. Sophia was just amazed that the snow kept getting on her shoes. Roman kept going to the window and just going WOWWWWWWWW- He was in utter amazement!!! After we went thru lots of Hot Chocolate and they watched-Ice Age! Yes we thought it set the mood-In total we got about 4 inches of snow yesterday and most of it is still around!
White Christmas
Even though Grant is less than thrilled we have been getting snow most of the day. To bad it didn’t stick but at least now I can say I have had a White Christmas!!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!
I hope your all having a MERRY MERRY Day!!!! I am posting new pics of our morning of fun!!picture-027.jpg
Could it be?
The news is calling for snow here on Christmas Eve!!!!! Dare I hope for my first White Christmas? Just don’t tell Grant:)
3 days to Christmas
I can’t believe it’s so close! Time has just flown by since moving to OR- We have our ward Christmas party tonight-sounds like fun. On Christmas Eve we are having our good friends over from next door for dinner and the Christmas Story-the real one- Then on Christmas Day we have the Missionaries all day. It helps so much to have them in our home on the holidays-we keep each other from being homesick. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas-know we are there in spirit!
Great Job BELLA!!!
Last night was Bella’s school play. She was the first Christmas Spirit. She did a great job!!! We were all so proud of her. I can’t believe she stood on a stage and acted her little heart out.
The auditorium was standing room only. I was amazed at the turn-out. She was definitely a pro!
Welcome Home Grant!!!!
Grant finally made it in about 3 this morning. Everyone of his fights were delayed. He missed his first connecting flight due to his first fight leaving late and they bumped him to first class but he had to wait about 8 1/2 hours for his fight and then it was delayed. Poor guy he was in Airports for over 12 hours yesterday. I am so happy he is home! Hopefully he wont have to go again for a long while.
AMAZING DAY!!!
Today I got to go to the Portland Temple. My friend Amy watched the 2 little ones while the other kids were in school. Just me and the temple it was so great. I was there in less than an hour and was able to do a session and be back before the kids were even home from school. We are so blessed to have a temple so close. I really missed that feeling of peace that you have when your there. I will never take the temple for granted again. When you grow up and it’s so close you can’t imagine it not being right there. I am so happy I had the opportunity to go today and I hope to go back soon.

This is a link about 2 Mormon Missionaries who went missing near my sister’s sil. Read their story, warning you’ll need a box of tissue.
Missing my Man
I know Grant has to go out of town from time to time for work but it doesn’t mean I have to like it. As I was feeling sorry for myself running after the kids tonight I starting thinking……………..
I have two friends who just had to say goodbye to their hubby’s for 12+months and another 2 friends who have had their hubby’s gone for awhile. I don’t know how the men and women left behind do it. The sacrifice they make on a daily basis is amazing to me.
Emily-Amy-Andrea-Kathy-Yevonne-Rochelle-Elena-Alison-For all your sacrifices’ THANK YOU!!! YOU AMAZE ME EVERDAY!!!!!!!!!
MARC-SCOTT-KARL-PHIL-GLEN-MIKE-RICK-MARK AND ALL THOSE SERVING HOME AND ABROAD- THANK FOR FOR MY FREEDOM AND FOR PROTECTING MY CHILDRENS’ FREEDOOM!
