12 years and baby update!

Last night we celebrated 12 years from the day of our first date-My how 12 years have changed us-4 kids soon to be 5 living in a different state and for me a few more grey hairs just ask Bella- We had Chinese just like our first date and instead of being interruppted by the waiter we were interruppted by 4 children- It’s nice to remeber the moments that brought us here.

On Wed I went to the doctor and had another ultrasound. it was wonderful to see Ava and see how much she is growing-it was nice to be able to go over every inch of her and know that she is perfect. The tech was great-she was asking if she moves alot and I warned her that she was going to get alot of kicks-Every few minutes she would go “Whoa!”-then assure me that nothing was wrong-she was just amazed at the strength of our little girl- I think she looks just like all our others-so I know she is going to be a beauty!!

For Eternity? Really?

When i signed on for this eternal family I thought of what a wonderful life we would have-but we all have days or weeks when we wonder if were strong enough to fight the fight. I love my kids and my hubby but some days having a minute to myself doesn’t sound bad. I know that life throws you speedbumps along the way and how you deal with them is your choice- I just wish my road would be a little smoother some days. There is a saying-”I never said it was going to be easy, I only said it would be worth it.” I just have to remind myself that even though life isn’t always easy it will be worth it. I am greatful for Forever Families and I would not change it for a minute, but sometimes I wish I could take a month long nap!

Then Grant kept Roman and I took the older kids to the Pumpkin Festival-it was alot of fun-Jax and Sophia actually rode Horses and loved it-for the first few minutes I couldn’t  decide if Sophia’s face was terror or wonder-She told me it was her favorite part so i guess it was WONDER! We also went on a fun hayride and got lots of beautiful scencry-I’ll post the movies later but for now here are some pics

Can you feel it?

One of the reasons I love Fall so much is being able to have a fire!! I love the smell, the sound and I could watch the flames dance for hours. I love the fact that its already cold enough to have one all day up here-It takes me back to being a kid and watching my Dad and Mom always building one-So don’t worry about me I am going to watch my fire!!!

Thriller

Yesterday Bella spent the day at a dance camp-they have a couple a year- they work with the High School Drill team and then put on a show. Bella had a great time and did a great job!!!! It was weird to see them dancing to Thriller-it was popular when I was her age-

Roman wanted to have his time in the spotlight too! The kids had fun looking at all the trophys and seeing the lion in the window-

It’s so hard to say Goodbye………

Last night we said goodbye to 3 of our missionaires-One-Elder Clayton is going home today-Two-Elders Reed and Allen are going to other areas- We had dinner and then Inspriation Cake for dessert- we have really enjoyed these great young men and are sorry to see them go- Watching Elder Clayton say goodbye to Roman made me cry-they have been great buddies-Elder Clayton was one of the first missionaries we met here-so he has been with our family on and off for about 6 months. I know he will do well in life and hope to stay in touch-

Bella looked at me last night and said “Wow! Mom, Ava is really showing!” So she had to take a pic for all to see-

Here I am at 24 weeks-so do you think Ava is showing?
