On the verge of Invasion

In less then 2 hours our home will no longer be ours-it will be the worlds- We have the Realtors coming at 10 for a 3 hour tour-then it’s a lifetime of scrambling to keep things clean-knowing at all moments what Roman is up to- worrying about it selling to soon or never at all- So wish us luck and say 12 prayers-

Our Day of Help

For those who know me-I am the first to sign up to help someone else-as for asking and recieving the help well let’s just say I have to humble myself to get to that point-Friday was that point- With so much to do and so little time I knew i had to call in reinforcements- So I called our Relief Society Pres and asked for help- All I can say is WOW!!!!!! For being in the ward such a short time I was over whelmed by everyone that showed up- We had over 30 people here yesterday morning-The women and some hubby’s were cleaning my bathrooms and kitchen-scrubbing molding and doors- Outside they tamed our jungle of a yard-I don’t even recognize it!!!! Later in the day the new Elders-Elder Mathew-Chandler AZ and Elder Nicol-Sandy Utah showed up and helped Grant paint the boys room and then we had Tacos for dinner- The Sisters are coming back Mon to help vacum and clean carpets- All I can say is we are so blessed-

Help!

So much is going on right now-we are busy applying to jobs for Grant-we have the weekend to have our house ready to go on the market on Tuesday-that included major cleaning, painting and yard work- yesterday at my appt the doc told me I needed to be down more= So how do I do it all? HELP!!!!!

12 hours

There are times in our lives where we wish we could go back in time 12 hours and stop a moment in time from happening. Now is one of those times-Last night we found out that Grant and 300 others are being laid-off- The prospect of this terrifiys me-Now we are in a mad dash to prep our house to sell, I am calling the realtor today and apply, apply, apply for jobs-who knows where we will end up. This would be scary enough on any given moment but to be so close to giving birth it makes it that much worse. So know I ask for your prayers………… We need them more then we have ever before-

Weekend Fun!

This past weekend was a busy one-On Sat we went to Longview/kelso Wa-it’s  about half an hour away and went to friend and co-worker of Grant’s B-day party- Everyone had a lot of fun playing the WII and watching model airplanes fly-First we went to Applebee’s -Yummy!! Within minutes of arriving home we had 2 Elders on our doorstep wanting to visit-

Sunday after church we went to our friends the Hagmans for family pics and dinner-I can’t believe how our family has grown!!! Here is a couple to give you a sneek peek- Soon we will have another member hamming it up for the pic!

3rd Trimester!

Well we made it! We are officially in the third trimester!! Whoo!! Hooo!!! Now if I can make it 8 more weeks we will be golden- I know little Ava is excited to get out and meet and mingle with the other kids I just have to convince her that it isn’t so bad hanging out with mom-

Congrats to our Grants Brother Hyrum and his wife Esther! They just had a beautiful baby boy! Were so happy for them and that all is well-

Life in a Blue State

Most of  you know by now that Obama won last night- For the first time I feel like my vote didn’t matter- I have always been in the Red States and now I am living in a Blue State-I knew Obama would win Oregon but it stings a little to feel like my voice wasn’t heard

Halloween

We had a great Halloween-First we went to a fall festival at church-then Trunk-or -treating in the parking lot and then we had 2 families over and 4 Elders for dinner and movie-it was alot of fun! Roman figured out after the first couple of cars what to do and then he was pushing aside everyone in his path!

So MAD!! I’m shaking!!!

 Tonight during movie night the kids were down stairs and Grant and I were up watching our movies-when bed time rolls around Bella comes and tells me Sophia cut part of her hair-so I am bracing my self for a chunk missing-I cried when I saw it. She butchered it!!!! One side is shorter then her ears!!! I have no idea how we are going to fix it-Just yesterday when I was combing it I noticed it was about to her waist! I am completely sick over it!!!!!
